So I have a zpool that has two Raidz2 vdevs (8 drive each). One of the vdevs has two drives that faulted, hot spares kicked in, it looks like one of the drives that faulted came back and was resilvered, just had to detach the spare manually.
The other one is still showing removed. In any case I found it quite odd that 2 drives in the same vdev faulted, but they're on the same controller Ran iostat -En and low and behold. The other vdev on another controller has no errors. Is this a sign of bad things to come? Should I have split each vdev to have half (4) on one controller and the other half on the other controller?
