hi, I try to study FCOE under opensolaris I already setup a FCOE target
but it is really a little hard to find a initiator I try FCOE initiator under windows, but once I access HDD from FCOE target my windows crash then I try open-fcoe under linux, complicated steps of configuration cast me a lot of time finally I give up open-fcoe, I even don't know to check its status now I have problem on opensolaris FCOE initiator, with intel pro 1000 GT, system is B134, without comstar. first I change mtu to 8192, and comfirm this wih ifconfig I type command fcadm create-fcoe-port -i e1000g2, result is "failed to open the specified MAC link" I type command fcadm create-fcoe-port -f e1000g2, result is "failed to open the specified MAC link" I type command fcadm create-fcoe-port -if e1000g2, result is "failed to open the specified MAC link" I type command ifconfig e1000g2 unplumb I type command fcadm create-fcoe-port -if e1000g2, result is "failed to open the specified MAC link" I type command ifconfig e1000g2 plumb I type command fcadm create-fcoe-port -if e1000g2, result is changed to "failed to create FCOE port on specified MAC link" can somebody tell me what happen?
