I've got a large zfs storage system that I have been trying to make available via fibre channel. I added an Emulex LP1000DCe (Dual Port, 2gb/s, PCIe) to the storage head and configured the card as a target. I can see the storage and access it, but performance is spotty and occasionally it simply refuses to show anything but a 0 length LUN.
There was another thread about this, along with a patch to correct the driver (to support the older version 2 cards as opposed to the newer version 3 chips) but even that has failed to resolve my issue. I'm looking for a card that will definitely work with COMSTAR (preferably Emulex as all my experience and other cards are Emulex). I'm currently considering the LPE11002 but any recommendations (qlogic included) would be appreciated.
