I have several LP10000DC adapters in SPARC boxes, some of which are DC-e and some are DC-s.
The E's show up as /pci@1d,700000/emlxs@1 and the S's show up as /pci@1d,700000/SUNW,emlxs@1 That SUNW bit is giving me grief- OS templates I have for one require reconfiguring before I can use them with the other adapter. Anybody know if it's possible to change the device ID, either through emlxadm, through a firmware change or by altering the device through a forth script in openboot? I know I've done this in the past with other adapters using a forth script but it's been a long time and I have little recollection of how the script worked.
