Hello everyone, I'd like to clarify one point about contributions so that it doesn't come as a surprise at later stages of development: it's part of the company policy to require copyright assignments to projects that are released as open source.
This is common on many projects, and offers the organization continued control over the released source code even if integrations are made. This is generally not a problem, as the code *is* released as open source, but I certainly respect any different opinions, and don't intend to turn that into a debate. The precise wording of the assignment is available at: https://storm.canonical.com/CopyrightAssignment Attent readers will perceive that it's a copy of the Bazaar document, with the project name replaced. Please notice that we *always* give credit to any contributions made nevertheless. -- Gustavo Niemeyer http://niemeyer.net -- storm mailing list [email protected] Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/storm
