First, I was able to successfully add my LS-120 drive to my
KDE desktop. I just copied the floppy icon, changed it's
properties to /dev/hdc and edited /etc/fstab and added
a line for the device. Now it can read/write the LS-120
device, cool!

Second, I had several challenges with the Storm (rain) 2000
install. Sometimes the KDE interface does not get
installed. So I usually install (over and over) it until it
"takes". This last time it "took" but all of the wallpapers
weren't there, strange. So, I wandered through the CD and
found the wallpapers.*.deb file. Typed (in another window)
dpkg -i wallpapers.*.deb (but I used the REAL filename of
course) and the wallpapers extracted and were immediately
available, double cool!

Question: I have a Slackware CD (the one that omes with the
book "The Linux Kit") that has DOOM, XDOOM and SDOOM on it
that I would like to install. What's the best way to go
about that?
