Hello,
I have installed storm on my machine, which has 128 megs of ram,
only to find that it only detect and uses 64 megs of ram..?? I decided
to upgrade my kernel and anything else i could think of to correct the
problem. However, I had already used the graphical storm package manager
to include the unstable (potato) debian dist, so when i tried to do an
upgrade, it tried to update things I didnt want updated, so I halted
the update. (I had needed the latest python and zope packages
from the potato dist)
Anyway, After halting the upgrade in progress of being downloaded,
my SAT and SPM (packagae manager) quit working, so I went to use
apt-get and deselect...
I setup a sources.list file through the dselect interface, but
reguardless of what I set things to, when I go to use apt-get
I get errors that the Package lists cannot be found.
Please help me with some info on the following:
A) Why does my machine only see 64 megs of ram? (the bios sees all
128MB at bootup, and this is a brand new intel BX chipset motherboard)
B) How do I fix A?
C) What would a correct /etc/apt/sources.list look like that would contain
the default hosts that come with stormix?
D) Wth did the SPM quit working?
Any and all help is appreciated, thnx!!!
