Storm is Debian slink. I've had no problems installing slink package
on stormix. However, the kernel has been hacked on storm, and lilo +
xdm/kdm/gdm? have been customized.

In Debian, it's /etc/init.d. There are links in the /etc/rc* dirs
that point back to /etc/init.d.

/etc/modules? /etc/modutils? /etc/conf.modules? /etc/modules.conf?
man kerneld?
