Hello all,

More on the lilo dual boot. I went back and did a
manual configuration of lilo. It works fine
getting D. Linux booted but Win is not available
by tabbing. Tried lilo -D win to force the win
label to be seen and used. No dice.

Next I attempted to get back to the Win98
partition (/dev/hda1) by running linux fdisk to
verify that the Win98 partition existed and was
not corrupt. I noticed that the Linux boot
partition (/dev/hda2) had the active flag set. I
set the Win98 partition back to active and
re-booted. Win98 came up fine. I doubt that the
mbr was ever actually "toasted". If it was fdisk
/mbr must have worked but the active flag was a
problem.

More playing around and I still cannot get lilo to
"see" win on /dev/hda1. I am using the bot disk
for now and will probably set up Win98
menu/loadlin. Not my preffered boot method.

If anyone has any suggestions for making lilo see
"win", I would love to here them.

Thanks,
