No. If you have Storm currently installed, just use the Storm Package
Manager to get any changes. You must do this as root.
Login as root
startx
run Storm Package Manager
Click Update -- wait until finished
Click Apply
Click OK
Done
If no packages show up when you click apply, you have the latest goodies.

If you follow the directions I gave above, no because you're not
re-installing anything at all. Just updating the existing installed
software. This is one of the beauties of Debian and Linux in general ;-)
