Hi all ,
I've been using Linux for a 2 weeks or so ( Debian ) and I installed
Storm from the Maximmum Linux CD.
Everything OK ( Graph. install hangs, text works OK), but I
installed the Kernel source
and then configured it to my needs : sound OK, ntfs OK, ... but when
I try to configure parallel
port support it is disabled.
I need it to use my Iomega Zip ( scsi support OK ), ppa
driver won't work
without parallel port support
Questions :
1) Do I need Storm patched kernel for something
apart of graph. boot?
2) Am I missing something to configure the said
parallel port ... ?
If I don't get an answer I'll try with the "classic" kernel !! but,
what are the "dangers" of doing this with Storm
