[SLU] No permission attachments

I am trying to get EVERYTHING over to Storm Linux.  Today I recieved an
email with an Excel attachment.  I mounted my dos particion and tried to
save the attachment there.  I was greeted by 'no permission' to open the
file.  Does anybody know how to solve this?
