I have only installed Hewlett Packard and Epson printers, but you might
want to try this (It hasn't failed for me yet).

1. Rename /etc/printcap to /etc/printcap.old or something like that.
2. Use the storm package manager to install apsfilter. During the
install process, you will have quite a variety of printers to choose
from. The program will create a new printcap file for you during the
install.

3. That should be all you have to do. If for some reason you
accidentally choose the wrong printer, you can always use the package
manager to uninstall apsfilter and then reinstall it again.

If that doesn't work (it should), you might try some of the hardware
links on the Stormix page and look up information specific drivers for
your printer. Since you do not go into what your attempts were, it would
be hard for anyone to recommend what other approaches you might take.
There is general information on printing if you go to the
/usr/doc/HOWTO/ directory. When you install apsfilter, there is also a
/usr/doc/apsfilter/ directory with information specific to that filter.

P.S. The support people at Storm have always been great about giving me
practical advice.
