As much as I like web-based message boards (we're using the commercial
release of UBB for SpiritWars, in fact), they are rather ugly in Lynx. The
advantage of Usenet is that those messages could potentially reach dialup
BBS systems (e.g. WWIV, FidoNet) in third world countries via UUCP, hence
a much wider audience. Just my two bits.
