Folks, I am experiencing some very strange behavior from my system after installing
the Rain release. Here's the rundown:

When I power my system up (cold start) I get to the point of "Looking for boot record
on IDE-0...", then I get row after row after row of "0 10 10 10", continually
scrolling off the screen. At this point, I can pop in my old Win98 startup disk and
boot to DOS. I run fdisk /mbr, thinking "OK, I'll just boot from a floppy". fdisk
beeps and tells me "No fixed disks present", and returns me to an A:\ prompt. I pop
out the floppy, hit Ctrl-Alt-Del, and Presto-Whizzo!, there's the beautiful blue Storm
Loader, waiting to choose between Windows 98 or Linux.

What gives?! I thought fdisk is supposed to write it's own image to the master boot
record. If this was something that had happened before I installed Linux, I would
think it was hardware related, but it has only happened after installing Stormix.
This is not a one-time occurrence, it happens every time I boot up! I can also boot
up to the Win98 install CD-ROM, choose the option "Boot from hard disk", and get the
same result, the Storm Loader screen. Any thunks on this one? It really has me
scratching my head!
