Hello, all. I'm Carl's friend struggling with the LNE10/100TX NICs with
Stormix, and I've just added myself to the mailing list. Thanks for all
the help and suggestions in the interim.

Anyway, here's the dirt. I have a dual boot Celeron machine, two IDE
drives (6G4 & 10G3) and a SCSI CDROM. Mandrake 7.0-2 is on hda and
Storm2000 is on hdb. The NIC works with Mandrake, but there are issues
with it under Storm, apparently. I went to the site that Linksys
recommends for the tulip.c driver, and grabbed some header files while I
was at it. Those were kern_compat.h and pci-scan.h.

There was no Makefile, at least not in the same directory as tulip.c. I
found a Makefile in another dir, but am unsure of its applicability in
this case. Is there an alternate source for the tulip driver? Perhaps
there is something else amiss? An error message flies by on boot,
something to the effect of:
doesn't seem to have all the variables for eth0...
if that helps any. There is a tulip.o on the system, but it's
apparently not loaded, and when I do load it, it reports as unused if I
do a lsmod. Does this indicate that there's something missing in my
modules.conf?

I can forward any and all files that I've accumulated to any interested
parties upon request. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Mike Pfleger
