Thanks Ryan, for a very quick reply.
Tonight I was helping a friend install Storm on a new cheap Celeron
machine. So I'm spreading the word (although in this case the word has to
be translated to Spanish). Assuming I solv my problems, will it be possible
to update his Rain install to Hail by connecting his PC to mine and sourcing
my archive directory? What would I put in sources.list?

I live in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. My sources of software is CD's off
magazines and the net.

The new version of Lilo is installed. How do I point it to 'graphic_screen'?

After the original upgrade, with startx. After I re-installed some things, I
now get a graphic startup, with a penguin and a very nice Stomix 2000
screen. After I sign on, it goes to KDE.

Xterms or console? - It's what I get with ctrl + alt + F1. I will look for
2.2.16 on the Stormix site.
Thanks again for your reply.
