Hi

In the XF86Config file in /etc/X11/ Keyboard section line 196 should read:

    XkbKeymap   "xfree86(se_SE)"

which must be the same, in Slackware I use the fi keymap for a swedish keyboard
for example.
You can also run XF86Setup to check the keyboard configuration.
