I don't have that card or driver, but I suspect you may have forgotten
something when you did the kernel rebuild. I may be wrong, but I'd look over
your settings for compiling the kernel first. Look in the driver settings
for your card. The config info you provided for general network config looks
fine.

Out of curiosity, try giving your card a static IP like 192.168.1.1 and see
if the card comes up. If it does then everything is fine and there may be a
DHCP config issue.
