Bummer... I'm fond of the menu panel in Gnome, so making a regular
panel in place of the menu panel isn't the best solution for me. I dug
through the Gnome docs and found a blurb that says that the menu panel
is somewhat less configurable than the standard Gnome panel. I guess
I'll just deal with it and try to stop being such a desktop neat-freak
:)

I guess if it REALLY starts to bug me, there's always the source...
