The iso is bootable.I burned it in Windows with Adaptec 4 and boots up
just fine.
I gave up on cdrecord after I kinnda coastered 2 CD's trying to make
them bootable
(system will boot from CD but hangs when trying to launch the
kernel).The CD is OK,just the boot image doesn't work .Needless to say
the same boot-image worked just fine after using adaptec.I say it's
something we've both overlooked with the options in cdrecord.
