If you can delete the unused partitions then recreate them later.I used
another (smaller)HDD ,since I had 13 partitions and had the same
problem.
Note that using existing partitions or creating them with cfdisk doesn't
help.
Seems like if a certain magic number of partitions is reached the
installer just
craps out.I'd say delete one by one and find that magic number.
