I can't answer this since my Storm disk is very old, and I always
upgrade immediately after installation. I suspect that you'd be
well advised to do so, too. Linux is a living OS, changes (especially
security updates) happen continuously. I have poff set up to run
apt-get update; apt dist-upgrade
automatically when I close my ISP connection. I'd advise that you do
the same as soon as your ppp connection is functional.
