The short answer is no.

A little longer answer is that there is at least one in development.
The problem lies in the fact that DVD technology is proprietary and its use
is licensed which means you have to pay for it. And this rightfully sticks
in the craw of most Linux developers.

Subject: [SLU] DVD Players for Linux?

I have a quick question about DVD ROM drives. I have a dual boot machine
with a DVD Rom drive that works fine
in Windows and appears to operate well (at least as a CD-ROM) in Linux. Are
there any software DVD Players
available for Linux and if so can someone reccomend a good one?

Thanks,

David K
