In order to get Java going in Mozilla you'll have to go here:
http://home.netscape.com/plugins/jvm.html
and get Mozilla to install the JRE1.3.
I think you might want to upgrade to Mozilla 0.6 as this is the latest
Milestone. Yeah I know, How can it go from M18 to 0.6? Who knows =)

I think SSL (PSM) got buggered in M18 so upgrade.
