I Just Purchased Storm Linux 2000 Starter Edition a
Few Days Ago. And got it delivered Yesterday.I Tried Installing today. And
everything Works fine till i get to where its gonna install the linux software.
Im useing Windows98, I did the partitioning of the hard drive.I did that
restarted it came in windows said that the partitioning was finished. and asked
me if wanted to install Storm linux 2000,i did that It detected the mouse. i did
the keyboard Test. I didnt know if i had Scsi so i just hit no like it said to
if i dont know what scsi was.everything seemed to go okay. It detected My
Voodoo3 3000. Once all of that was done and it started installing it came up
with these errors.
1.setup_initrd: ssdb_open():Can't Open Storm db:
Input/output error
2.setup_initrd:Could not open/target/vmlinuz:
Assuming same kernel as running
3.Setup_initrd:ssdb_open(): Can't open Storm scsi
db: Input/output error!
4.Setup_lilo: Lilo returned L: This is a Fatal
error, the system will not be able to reboot.
then it restarted the whole install process and
asked me if i wanted to go to Graphical or text based installation i just
restarted after that.Im New To Linux this is my first time installing it. Could
you please help me solve these problems, Thank
