Hey guys.

I'm a recent Stormix convert; I used to run Debian but had a helluva time
installing it on this freshly upgraded system (harddrive is on a Promise
ata/66 controller card)

Anyway! Seeing as ftp.stormix.com is down, I changed my apt-get sources
via Package Manager to ftp.debian.com.

As this is a fresh install, there's a bunch of things I need to add to the
system. My problem is that whatever I try to install usually downloads
but it fails to install. If I go into into /var/cache/apt/archives and
dpkg -i whatever.deb manually it sometimes works. Obviously, I'd rather
do it the lazy way and use the Package Manager :)

Here's an example of the error I keep getting:
Get:1 http://ftp.debian.org potato/main ipmasq 3.4.4 [37.3kB]
Fetched 37.3kB in 0s (45.2kB/s)
Unable to correct missing packages. <-- **
Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
Construct main nodes... Done.

I have successfully installed a few things manually, but have never gotten
the package manager to successfully install anything on it's own.

Feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Mike
