Hope it's not true.
If it is, it's too bad a jerk had to break it to us. I wish the best of luck to the
Stormix crew. Their tech support was always very responsive, and I am glad that this
was
the first Linux distro that I purchased. The package manager and SAS were great
additions
to Debian, and I wish all of the developers the best of luck on their next venture.

If it is not true, well then I hope that that Stormix will understand that the reason
the
rumor-mill has gotten out of hand is their relative non-responsiveness to questions on
the
mail lists regarding the ftp problem. As users, we all have something invested in this,
whether or not we payed for it. The month is almost over, and Storm-Letters has not
come
out with anything new either. If there is a hardware problem, the present users should
still be a priority and we should be getting a more detailed outline of what the
problem
is with the ftp server, and what people are doing to resolve it. There may even be
someone out there who has the hardware and connections to keep a mirror running while
things are straightened out.

If it is the beginning of the end, then I hope to bump into all of you on the debian
mailing list someday.....your comments have been helpful in getting started with Linux,
and I hope that I will be able be as helpful to others as you have been. I have also
learned from the questions that others have asked.

Best regards,
Glen
