I've been running with "testing" or woody for the past couple of weeks and it works fine. Just be careful with lilo ....the lilo.config file that comes with the upgrade is flakey. I also installed Gnome, and there is a good script for debian users at www.ximian.org In order to get it running though, you will have to remove some of the files from the Storm hail distro.... mc-common and netscape communicator and navigator files. My sources list looks like this: deb http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian testing main contrib non-free deb http://non-us.debian.org/debian-non-US testing/non-US main contrib non-free deb http://spidermonkey.helixcode.com/distributions/debian woody main SAS still works fine after the upgrade. Storm package manager glitches up so I use gnome-apt I'm not sure about the woody version of KDE. Last I checked, it was down as well. I'm using a modem, so I don't know how the upgrade would affect networked systems. Anyway, it works for me. No guarantees on how it will work on other machines, though. -Glen _______________________________________________ Stormlinux-users-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.stormix.com/community/lists/listinfo/stormlinux-users-list
