I am trying to upgrade my pototoe box to kernel 2.4.2, form 2.2.18..
This is what I have done so far:
-downloaded modutils 2.4.2 source make, make install
-Built 2.4.2 with static ELF, and static ext2fs, support
I when I choose the new kernel from Lilo, I get the following error
splashed accross the screen:
failed to exec /sbin/modprob -s -k ....etc.
yet modprobe -h tells me I am using v 2.4.2, and type modprobe tells me
that modprobe is indeed in /sbin
Here is a copy of my lilo.conf (I don't know if this helps or not.)
