Reminds me of my time in Korea. They use very similar electric stoves there, although gas is preferred.
The building interiors are quite different, however.

This is TV spot on an electric stove. There are lots of those of course, but the conditions in Ulaanbaatar are shown. The inside of a get (yurt is the Russian word) gives you an idea of the structure and decoration.

The stylized T at the end of numbers is the currency: Tugrug which trades at about 1250 to the USD.

The plan by some is to have people use electric heating instead of coal. The problem is the generating capacity is not there to supply more than a small percentage of the homes.

The spoken language is Mongolian of course, written with Cyrillic letters...as you will see.
