Thanks for that like John. Biolite has come a long way. It explains their 
recent quietude!  What a lovely product. 

Regarding the power generation, there are two other products of interest. There 
is a pot with a USB port on the end of the handle. I have not found one yet. 

There are three fans now available for the stove top (to spread heat around) 
available at Lee Valley stores which I saw today. One is the original that has 
a fan mounted on a foot that lists off the stove top if it gets too hot. 

The other two are heavier and flat bottomed and not recommended for wood 
stoves. They clearly have more power with a larger heat exchanger.
