A heating rod of 4x5 cm = 600 watts makes vapor of 95 ° C 30 minutes long Energy for 2 meals = 0,3 KWh ; cost 2BFr = 0,05 € = 0,0066 $ Any wood stove with a 4x5 cm heating rod adapter will do the same , and can use the polycarbonate 3 level perforated food pots . The big WIN FACTOR is in the 3-4 times less water used and so energy saved ,not to heat balast water !. 18 grams =18 cc water gives 22,4 liter water vapor !! Less minerals are eluted !
