Hi All, A link to a site explaining the operation of the "gas fridge". Originally powered by a small gas flame, no moving parts, commercially developed by Electrolux company for LPG operation - and still available for those off grid or for camping/recreational vehicles.
http://www.cam.net.uk/~aaa314/electrolux.html Further explanations from this Ph.D thesis http://www-old.me.gatech.edu/energy/andy_phd/index.html The paraffin version will use a small kerosene flame - but without a vapouriser like a Primus stove, I imagine that this might be smoky and smelly. Ken
