Does anyone know of a vehicle that could take a stove (medium size, metal, not brick) from the Seattle area to the Eugene Oregon area for the Stove Camp the starts on 22 July?

If yes, please reply to me ([email protected]) AND to david covert <[email protected]> who has in Seattle a Safi Jiko stove from Tanzania. This stove is a natural draft TLUD that uses whole Jatropha seeds as fuels.

Thanks in advance.

Hey all,

This is going out to all the folks I have registered for coming. If anyone knows of anyone coming that is not on the list below let me know.

Here are a few more details:

1 - Please send me your arrival information so we can figure out logistics, or you will be on your own!!

2 - If you have needs, such as a ride, please just reply all to this email with your request.

3 - We have a few tents and sleeping bags for those in need and camping, so let me know if you need one and I will put you on the list. It will be first ask first get, but we can always take you down to buy a cheepy at the store.

4 - I have attached the general logistics info that I sent out earlier just in case.

5 - If you are going to eat here we have lots of plates and stuff but if you can or want to bring your own eating wear that you will keep track of that would be swell.

6 - If you can send the $300 in ahead of time it will save Kathryn having to chase you down during the camp (and she will!!) . Make to Aprovecho Research Center - Send to PO Box 1175 - Cottage Grove, OR 97424

7 - Weather should be warm in day, cool in evening so bring both warm and cool weather clothes.

8 - We should have materials for building but if you need anything unique feel free to bring.

9 - If anyone has anything else or questions let me know.

Look forward to seeing you in a couple of weeks!

Mike
