List: This a bit more detail on the fourth day, just finished with a barbecue with numerous invited local guests (especially a local band).
The first part of today (as earlier days) in reporting test results. TLUD designs not yet looking too good. One part of the AM was spent in observing a mock safety inspection for a few participant stoves, using draft safety protocols from GACC, developed by. Nathan Johnson, then of Iowa State, now with Homer group in Colorado. I personally spent much of the day in learning the Excel program used to convert test results into efficiency and other measures. Some unhappness in having TLUDs operate for a short time reaching a boil and then stopping everything to separate out the char obtained. I talked with Jim Jetter (EPA) who sad new procedures are underway to forego this present approach. My 100 or so spherical "spherequettes" seem likely to be dried sufficiently by tomorrow for testing. Ron
