Dear Jock

Such a stove is available from a Japanese company and pretty much a copy of it with many changes is available from Royal Ocean in Mongolia.

I has two fixed chambers which can be ignited alternatively. There is a lever to connect them alternatively to the chimney.

This is a viable construction method with low risk of leaks.

Crispin

Subject: [Stoves] TLUDs: black powder muzzle loaders

Friends,

Can we move TLUD technology forward to at least the revolver stage? Rotating cylinders (reactor chambers) sharing a single barrel (stack)? Not talking machine guns here. Just one barrel, multi shot. Really just mid 19th century technology. This single advance would allow what amounts to continuous pyrolysis, rather than limiting to batch mode.

Thoughts?

Jock
