St. Paul E-Democracy Links http://www.e-democracy.org/stpaul/links.html _________________________________________ I may not have been at the two BORDC meetings Dan was at, partly because I was doorknocking at night and partly due to other commitments, but he should know that I've been to at least 8 meetings and helped set up the individual BORDC meeting with Dave Thune. If Dan had checked with other BORDC members, he would know my status. Matt Ehling (one of the founders of the St. Paul group) gave my campaign support by filming the PRT segment for cable access. I'm proud to know him, and the other members of the BORDC. I've recently become involved in a new cable access news show called "Right Here TV" and just interviewed BORDC members from both sides of the river for the second show.
My campaign did pass out flyers about the BORDC forums. For the record, I'm also involved with the related Police/INS separation ordinance. Finally, there are many places Green Party members are active. Just because they don't shout "I'm a Green Party member" when they turn up doesn't mean they're not there. I have observed on more than one occasion, if people actually knew how many Green Party members were taking the initiative on one progressive cause or another, they would be slower to criticize. Many of us try to live the Green Party principles, not just talk about them. Besides, I thought it was un-Minnesotan to brag! :) Elizabeth Dickinson West Side _____________________________________________ NEW ADDRESS FOR LIST: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To subscribe, modify subscription, or get your password - visit: http://www.mnforum.org/mailman/listinfo/stpaul Archive Address: http://www.mnforum.org/mailman/private/stpaul/ _____________________________________________ For state and national discussions see: http://e-democracy.org/discuss.html For external forums, see: http://e-democracy.org/mninteract
