Apparently, Ruminator Books has withdrawn its loan request to the city because a private investor has come forward.
Ruminator may still seek a "cultural grant" of $50,000 from the STAR program. Is this for "cultural programming" or simply to maintain the Ruminator as a "cultural site"?
Mr. Unowsky says that he will make an announcement about the status of the store and the fundraising effort on Saturday.
All this info - from the following StarTribune article.........

"Ruminator Books withdrew its application for an 11th-hour loan from the city of St. Paul on Tuesday after a private investor came forward to help the independent bookseller buy some time for additional fundraising."
