Upcoming events. The way decisions are being made at the state level is becoming increasingly alarming. The NEAT Board approved a resolution "to collaborate with parent organizations forming locally and across the state to raise the conversation to a higher level" and is hosting the following event for parent leaders, statewide: STATEWIDE FORUM ON RAISING THE CONVERSATION TO A HIGHER LEVEL (L) 3/11/2004 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM at Arlington Hills Lutheran Church, 1115 Greenbrier St, Saint Paul (1 block east of Payne, 2 blocks south of Maryland) - map - ...a statewide conversation on using the data to empower not only our teachers and our schools, but also our communities to engage in effective, collaborative efforts to identify needs and develop solutions to address them. If you're concerned about how the state is using the data, please plan to attend AND pass this invitation on to friends and family across MN (especially rural MN).
