Please Introduce Yourself What's your connection to St. Paul public schools? mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] _________________________________________
Moved back to St. Paul almost a year ago now thanks to Michael Haynes, a wonderful realtor I met through this list. I have no children in the St. Paul Schools and my contact with the SPSS is minimal at this time. My contact over the years has been: - worked with St. Paul School Board members on the Minnesota School Board Legislative Committee when I was member of the White Bear Lake Area School Board. Respected their knowledge, commitment, and passion for the kids of St. Paul - worked with school board members when I was a member of the Ramsey County League of Local Government. Again, valued their input. - worked with the S.P. school district to put together a tri district school when on the Board in White Bear. Our district had to bow out when our levy was defeated and we ran into financial difficulties. Roseville took our place. Had a lot of respect for their ability to look to the future. - have minimal contact with SP schools as a board member of the Perpich Center for Arts Education. The Minneapolis Schools are very involved in the center and use the resources. the Perpich Center hopes to develop a better partnership with the St. Paul schools in the future. I'm thinking of taking yoga, weightlifting and salsa (if I can find a partner) thru the community services program.
