Trust me, fat kids or small kids, get beaten up a lot more than anyone
else. For one thing, it is easy to identify them and the school
administration
seems to have no social motivations to help them, so they don't. The kids are
told that they need to "get tough" or "get in shape" instead of being told
they
need to speak to a state sponsored attorney or counsellor.

I notice that Thune's sensitivity to homosexuals did not kick in when
a woman made complaints directed toward the inability of the public
schools refusal to do anything about a kid who was beaten up in their
stairwell. I wonder what he thought about that insident? Certainly not
enough to weigh in and say anything about it. But he certainly was willing
to jump in and compare my comments the spread of small pox. Comments
which the list managager told me he felt were basically okay.

<< Tom, you say that obese kids are the most bullied group. What are the
statistics on violence against obese kids and obese kids committing
suicide? I'm thinking about kids being beaten to death, strapped to
fences, killing themselves...stuff like that. Violence and suicide..not
bullying. I'm curious. If there are no statistics, can you tell me a
story about raging violence against obese kids? I ask because I believe
kids are bullied for a variety of reasons because they are kids.
Violence and suicide are a different story. >>
