http://www.startribune.com/stories/462/4679690.html In response to some requests for an accounting of travel by city officials paid for by the St. Paul Chamber of Commerce: "'Deputy Mayor' Flaherty said the City Council approved a donation from the chamber last year that sent Kelly to Denver to broadcast a live stadium message from Coors Field via closed-circuit television to attendees of an annual chamber event in downtown St. Paul." What I find funny is that they flew out to Denver to pretend to be at Coors Field for a group back in St. Paul. I'm thinking the Chamber has a little too much invested in selling the new stadium! This was one expensive photo op. If I was a Chamber member, I would ask for a reduction in my membership fees.
