Here is an article about a downtown development proposal that would cover several sites that have been discussed from time to time in this forum. Including the West Publishing Building and the old jail.
Would this be a good thing or a bad thing for downtown?

"They plan a $62 million project that would start just west of the Wabasha Street Bridge and include new commercial tenants for former West buildings all the way along Kellogg Boulevard to the District Energy headquarters. The old county jail and the "F" building in the Ramsey County Government Center-West are slated for demolition."
