Hi - see below - we have scheduled two community meetings to meet the five finalists for the St. Paul Police Chief (once we have interviewed applicants and narrowed down to five). They are on May 3 and May 4, 2004 - details are below and feel free to copy, post and distribute. I also have the announcement (in several languages) that I can send to anyone who is interested as an attachment (since we can't send attachments on this list serve).

Chief of Police Selection Committee Announces Candidate Forums
What: The Chief of Police Selection Committee invites residents, business owners, and civic groups of Saint Paul to attend a community meeting to listen to the top Chief of Police finalists.
The format of this meeting will be a panel style question and answer session. The top finalists will be given an opportunity to respond to questions from the community.
The Mayor, with approval from the City Council, will select the next Chief of Police.
When & Where:
