The Solid Waste Management Coordinating Board (along with its member
counties of Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, and Washington) is
promoting sales of the Green Guardian Home Composting Kit. The Composting
Kit includes the
- Garden Gourmet� backyard composting bin,
- a 2-gallon forest green kitchen food waste collection bucket, and
- Home Composting Made Easy, a 32-page instructional book.
Residents of Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey and Washington Counties
can reserve a Composting Kit on-line at
http://www.greenguardian.com/bin_zip.asp.
For those without internet access kits can be ordered by calling
651-292-3933.
Payment of $30.00 including tax should be made when you pick up your
Composting Kit at one of eleven convenient events located throughout the
metro area.
*You must pre-order your composting kit. Deadline to order is one week prior
to the event you select.
