That Onassis guy had it figured out, didn't he, Michelle?!
I read something somewhere the other day that 1 in 4 Americans get mental
health treatment.
Whereas, in St. Paul we are encouraged to treat mental health issues with
the same concern and respect as physical health issues,
and whereas, St. Paulites quality of mental health is diminished with
increasing public stress, pressures, and negative influences,
and whereas, billions of dollars are spent on psychoanalyses,
Therefore, let it be known throughout the land that any public action or
behavior that stresses another individual out and/or drives them crazy
should be banned,
and furthermore, since smoking mellows people out enough to avoid the huge
public expense of any possible psychotherapy, smokers are
hereforetoafternowforever entitled to free tobacco and alcohol at the
City's expense as part of the new Stress Cessation Program.

By Andy D. regarding a participant on the forum:
"We rarely encounter on this list posts that betray the writer as so
utterly
and irrationally ignorant of the facts in argument and who is so wildly
speculative on the motives for public policy pursuits as Thomas Swift
is.
Not only is he personally insulting, he dares attempt to speak as
authority
when he couldn't be further from it."
Very true Andy. But remember, this is all just a game to him so don't
sweat it. Heed the words of Aristotle.
"There are three forms of belittlement: contempt, spite and insult. ...
Insult is belittlement. For an insult consists of doing or saying such
things as involve shame for the victim, not for some advantage to
oneself other than these have been done, but for the fun of it."
