Wasn't the deal this time that they paid for the tickets and the only consideration given was that they were allowed to buy the tickets without standing in line? I know we all hate politicians as a species and would rather not run into them in any public situation, but help me here, they paid for the tickets! I must be the only person left on the planet who sees our elected representatives as representatives of the public. So, in my twisted view of the world its not a bad thing for our elected representatives to show up at a major event that our tax dollars paid for! Between the city and the state taxes we bought that building, seeing it wouldn't be possible for all of us to have access to it (even though we paid for it). I kinda like the idea of our Mayor or Council members having free access to it. Not to benefit the Wild, but just because we paid for it. Having done politics for over thirty years, I have yet to find an elected official that could be bought for a $35 ticket to a game, or a cup of coffee. J.M.O.N.T.O.M.E.P.P.O.F.
