NEAT - GENERAL ASSEMBLY 5/10/2004 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM Rondo Education Center Red Atrium, 560 Concordia Avenue enter yellow doors - map -
Monday, May 10, NEAT will be meeting to discuss the 2004-05 Action Plan and elect new officers. It is essential that we have at least two parents attend from each school. Over 30 people helped NEAT answer the question, "What could or should a citywide association be doing?" at the March 20 Action Planning Assembly The May 10 forum provides an opportunity for the key NEAT stakeholders - the parents working in the trenches in our schools - to see and have input into the plan. NEAT has also clarified parent group leaders can attend the Oct 10-12 leadership conference (marketed to site councils) and is supporting the efforts of Kids Voting Saint Paul! to strengthen neighborhood connections and promote civic engagement. See NEAT > Get Out the Vote! > Kids Voting to see if your kids are at a precinct school. Parent group membership gives your school a voice in creating citywide support for our parents and our schools. Please add joining NEAT to your next parent group meeting agenda and RSVP for the NEAT May 10 General Assembly today! Forms for 2004-05 can be downloaded from NEAT > Membership See www.stpaulneat.org to RSVP or call Roxy Foster at 651/776-6238 for details.
