The Wat Tham Krabok Fund was organized by people who were part of the Mayor's delegation to the refugee camp in Thailand. Most camp residents are in serious need of very basic mental and physical health care and some educational support prior to arriving this summer and fall. We are raising money for Hmong refugees still living in the Wat. One of the goals is to raise enough money to buy food, water, medicine, and school supplies for the families who really need our help. If we raise enough, we would also like to also send two Hmong professionals to work at the Wat over the summer: A person to address mental health issues and concerns and the other to help train English teachers.
